PLANNED ACTIVITIES FOR 2016
During the remainder of 2016, SCK plans to host field trip visits from 21 nearby schools and preschools, and provide outreach programs to 16 additional schools that are unable to come to the Centre under their own funding.
SCK will also hold a day-long science festival, host family visits, build or acquire several new exhibits, and continue to renovate its space in preparation for further growth.PLANNED ACTIVITIES FOR 2016

Hands-on, inquiry-based activities engage and excite children
STEM activities at SCK include exploring the Centre’s collection of hand-on science exhibits, taking part in educational science programs, and taking part in demonstrations and videos. A popular program involves isolating DNA using only common materials found in a home kitchen.
